This could well be a miss spelling of Tre Tower.
I have come across a number of errors like this in the Cambrian.
Keep us informed if you do solve your problem.

Subject: [POWYS] Place name help - 'tremawr', Brecon
Hello listers
Is anybody familiar with a place called 'tremawr' in Brecon? I have found
a
couple of suggestions as to what the word might mean (tre =
homestead/hamlet/town; mawr = great/big) but I haven't managed to find any
clues as to where it was/is.
I came across it in researching the children of my 3x great grandparents
(William ROSSER and Rachel WALTERS, both of Swansea, GLA) as a possible
place of death of their eldest child Susannah. So far I have no idea why
she
would have died in BRE despite having lived most of her life in Swansea,
GLA
and I am trying to find out some extra clues before I order the death
certificate.
Susannah ROSSER (b. 23 Jun 1829, Swansea, GLA) married Joseph HARRIS,
mariner (cir 1850?). While I have yet to find it on any official record,
in
later years Susannah referred to herself as Susan and (like some of her
other siblings) used her mother's maiden name (Walters) as a middle name.
She claims (in a letter written to one of her nephews) to have had 11
children, with only 4 still living in 1912.
I have come across the following snippets that lead me to believe that she
died in BRE:
[From 'The Cambrian Index Online'

Journal Catlogue Index Index Description Journal Date Text
South Wales Daily Post C10 Deaths, Death Notices 07 October 1916
October
3 at Tremawr,Brecon, Susannah widow of late Joseph HARRIS, aged 88.

Any help would be greatly apprectiated!
