Hi Anton,
Thanks for your reply, I am pleased to hear that you found the NLW very
helpful and offered a quick service. I don't think the probate for John
Wilson is relevant to my research so I don't want to go to the expense of
purchasing a copy. I just want to look at it on line to see what names
were listed in it just in case there is a connection.
Regards,
Margaret

The wills held in Nat Lib Wales are all on line and can be read on
screen by anyone but cannot be printed.
Library card is not needed and also not needed for orderign hard
copies. Recently I ordered quite a few hard copies of wills and also
parish register extracts for various marriages and the staff were very
helpfull. I emailed a list of what i wanted and they replied swiftly
with a very reasonable estimate of the charges.
I too at first was thrown by the reader ticket and Welsh residency thing
but when i emailed them they were very very helpfull. Also the copies
were on A3 paper and from start to finish took only 10 days.
regards
Anton
