He could be, MANY from working families went to work as "servants" at
least for a time. It gave young people, especially young women, a
chance to make money and put it aside. In my family I found a lot
marrying 10 later than you would think after having been working out,
they usually married younger men and they frequently ended up as
farmers wives having brought substantial monies to the marriage.

family in the 1841 census but not in the 1851 census. I do, however, find a
David DAVIES (age 19) as a servant of the Watkins Davies family. I am
wondering if he is the son of David DAVIES.
