As part of my research into other branches of the Benbow family, I am
looking for the parents of a Charles Benbow who was born about 1847 in
Llanwnog. The family tradition is that the father was a miller in
Pontdolgoch. I have found a census record that looks like it might be the
right family, but I'm having trouble reading it. This is not the first UK
census I've viewed, but I am trying to figure out the notations for the
first two men at the top of the page. Because there are marks through some
things, the numbers can be hard to read, etc. The second man in the
household #40 seems to be a good candidate for Charles' father, as his
occupation is listed as miller. And the son Charles birthplace is listed as
Llanwnog.
This is the reference for the census image:

I found the image on FindMyPast, and I want to ask if someone who is more
familiar with these records could help me figure out the writing on the
record for the household.
Thank you for any help you can give. If you do not have access to FMP, I
did download the image to my computer, and can send it by email.
