Thanks to Julie Preston and also the lady who was going to ask the
postmistress at Four Crosses (I've misplaced her e-Mail unfortunately)
I had a day off yesterday and decided to go down to the Powys Archives
Office at Llandrindod Wells.
As I passed through Four Crosses on my way towards Welshpool I stopped and
accosted a local on a bike. He thought the semi-runined chapel on the main
road may have been Congregational (or Presbyterian) but directed me to the
old lady at the Post Office as she had been christened there.
She confirmed it had been Congregational and had only closed in about 1942.
Photos taken I pressed on to Llandrindod - feeling lucky
