Susan,
If you have Isaac Brees' christening only from the IGI entry, suggest you
order the LDS films for Llanbrynmair to get the actual entry, as well as
probably the marriage of his parents, their baptisms, etc.
I recall past discussions on the list about Llanbrynmair emigrants to the
U.S. --- can't recall if they involved PA or OH, though. (Does anyone
remember the details?) Also, Susan, have you tried all of the PA genealogy
sites? There are a number of them dealing with the Welsh in PA, although
there seems to be quite a lot about the 17C & 18C.
Best regards,
Julie Preston

Regarding Isaac Breese
Took a trip to the Susquehanna County seat in Pa. today and hit pay-dirt
when I discovered that Isaac was born in 1819 on 1820. (Per Naturalization
records.) There is an Isaac who was born in 1819 in Llanbrynmair. Parents
names are Morris and Martha. He was christened in Dec. 1819.
Any suggestions as to how one might find out the name of the ship he came
over on? (He arrived in May 1847) Thanks for all the suggestions! Susan
Phelps
