Hi All:
My browser and system are too old to allow me access to
http://hughesfamily etc - I'm wondering if anyone has access or can help me
connect a friend to their North Wales ancestors:
Benjamin & Moses R. Hughes were brothers - they were either born at, or
lived at, 4 Tabernacle Terrace, Bethesda, and Moses left Wales in 1881
coming to the USA. He came through the VT/NY slate valley briefly, but then
ended up further south of us in the Albany, NY area.
Looking for information on the parents of Moses & Benjamin and any siblings
and their ancestors, except for Moses' line. That's the line my friend is
descended from. He just knows he had an Uncle Benjamin, but doesn't know if
there were any other siblings, and he doesn't know what happened to Benjamin
of if Benjamin had any offspring. He's also confused about the Hughes
surname, as it appears that in the Bethesda area they may also have had a
surname of Roberts.
He also has a cousin who lives in Groeslon who may have been a descendant of
Benjamin, and he recalls some family connections with the Hughes surname in
Upper Llandrwrog.
Any help appreciated.
