Subject: [POWYS] Clement Ekins at Brecon - 1833
Hi All
Having come across a record of the death of Clement Ekins, late coroner for
the County of Brecon, published on 1st July 1833, I'm wondering whether
anyone knows of any memorial to this person, or his father of the same name
(recorded the previous year as having died, too) - in or around Brecon?
There is a possibility of a family connection with St Mary's Church in
Brecon, where the son is said to have been married to Mary Anne Williams on
7th August 1817. The other possibility is St John's Cathedral, Brecon, where
their daughter, Mary Ann Hansard Ekins, was christened on 23rd November
1818.
Best regards
