Robert - the only Maesycwmmer I know is in Monmouthshire, but is now part of the
Caerphilly Council which spans both part ofGlamorganshire and Gwent. Maesycwmmer is on
the eastern side of the river Rhymney.

On the 29th of November 1895 at Troedriwdalar Chaple David Pugh a bachelor Plate-layer
age 28 married Elizabeth Williams a spinster age 27. At the time of marriage David Pugh is
living at Fairgrove Maesycwmmer and his father is Thomas Pugh a labourer. At the time of
marriage Elizabeth Williams is living at Cefnhafdre Llanafan fawr, her father is Issac
Williams a farmer.
