Hi Sue,
Many thanks for the kind words. I was born and brought up right opposite Dan
yr Ogof. It was a lovely environment in which to be reared.
Yes, these grass fires can be frightening. We have had hardly any rain since
the snow of the winter and everything is parched dry. The sun has been hot
and there has been a very drying wind with it. Unfortunately these idiotic
fire raisers do not realise the danger to wild life, residents and of
course, the emergency services which they cause by their actions.
All the best,
Hilary

Hi Hilary,
What a lovely picture you conjured up of the old grave yard and your Easter
flowers. I know the area around Dan yr Ogof Caves and it is truly
beautiful and must be very peaceful. My Mum and Dad are buried not far
from me but although it is a nice graveyard it is not as peaceful as the
Upper Tawe Valley.
Best wishes for a very happy Easter
Sue
PS how awful the fire was in the Brecon Beacons.
