Hello list,
I am trying to find out more about two of my ancestors - both Proberts. They were both
from farming families, one living in Colva and the other in Rhulen. At the start of WW1
they were both farming with their families and enlisted as far as I can find out between
1914 and 1916. As they were both living in Radnorshire has anyone any idea where they
might have enlisted - Hay or Brecon perhaps? Where were the stations for enlisting around
there and how can I find out more?
Incidentally both boys came back to Radnorshire at the end of the war and returned to
farming with their families.
Many thanks for any help.
Angela
