David Railton:
I lived a few blocks away from Great Crosshall Street, Liverpool. and there
were several Welsh chapels in our area..
I am not familiar with the Welsh Calvanistic Methodist Victoria Chapel in Great
Crosshall Street but there was a Welsh chapel there. I do know that the chapels
changed hands sometimes and the names changed.
The LDS has records of two chapels on Great Crosshall Street. These are:
Great Crosshall Street Chapel - Independent. Church Records 1802-1837, and
Welsh Baptist Church - Great Crosshall Street. Church Records 1818 - 1837.
A couple of blocks away was:
Welsh Baptist Church - St. Pauls Square - Welsh Baptist Attendance Register
1872 - 1874
If you can wait until next Wednesday, July 5, I will get the microfilm numbers
for you when I go for my weekly "fix" at the LDS Family History Center.
