I am just beginning to research the CHAMBERS family in Bangor circa 1900.
Bangor is about 25 miles away from Llanfaelog so I was very interested to
see your posting. So far I have been unable to get any leads on this family
at all. I have looked on the 1881 Census cd to see if there were any
CHAMBERS living in the area of Bangor at that time and in fact the Anglesey
CHAMBERS family seem the most local to Bangor.
My grandmother was Mary Elizabeth CHAMBERS known as Maimie, her brothers and
sisters were: Donald CHAMBERS, Harold CHAMBERS, Glyn CHAMBERS, Maud
CHAMBERS, William Arthur CHAMBERS and Albert CHAMBERS.
Mary Elizabeth CHAMBERS married Owen Thomas ROBERTS and they had two
children Ivor Wynne ROBERTS (my father) b. August 23 1920 and Evelyn
Gwendolyn ROBERTS
I have put out a posting on this specific family but with no response, if
you do come across any of my CHAMBERS family I would love to hear from you.
Good Luck with your search
