I am new to the list as well and have only recently begun to investigate
"oral history" regarding my Parry ancestors.
Briefly, My g-g-grandfather was Henry Parry,b. ca.1812 in Nefyn,
Caenarfonshire, married Anne Hughes b. ca. 1814 Llandeinliolen Parish in
about 1838. Henry was a quarry shoemaker in LLanberis. Eight children, seven
surviving. At least three, Robert b. 1842, John Hughes b. 1844 and Morris b.
1849 emigrated to the US. Jane b. 1852 married Thos. Hughes of Aberfraw,
Anglesley and relocated to Liverpool, Eng. and had 5 sons: William, Owen,
Thos., Ifan (Ifor?), and Trevor.
trevor emigrated to Utica, NY, USA where he died in 1954.
John Hughes Parry, my g-grandfather b. Dinorwic/Llanberis in 1844
was a minister serving in Crewe, Welshpoole and Oswestry (Eng. He married
Margaret Hill ca. 1852, emigrated to Utica, NY, USA where he was pastor at
the Moriah Welsh church until his death in 1899. His son, John Henry Hughes
Parry , my grandfather , was born 1889 in Holyhead, Anglesley, died in
Rochester, NY, USA in 1982. I ahve only recently made contact with
g-g-granson of Robert Parry via Parry list and am very interested to make
connections with UK descendants of Henry Parry of LLandeinliolen Parrish.
Will answer all replies if you beleive we share the same interests. Thanks
in advance. Deborah Druschel Guida- Deborah.Guida(a)med.va.gov

Hello
Tell me more about the PARRY -L list
I have Parry on both sides of my family, which can get quite confusing.
1. Parry from Disserth/ Llanreadr, 1850+ and 2. Parry from Talybont
1835+
I do not know a great deal of them at present, but am ready to start
looking.

Nice to see that there are other Parrys out there. The PARRY-L list
seems
to get hardly any mails at all.
Is anyone else researching Parrys either from the Penmon/Llangoed area of
Anglesey
in the 18th & 19th century, or from Liverpool then Nercwys, Flints.
in the early 20th century?

Nigel Parry, Kent, UK.
