Hi Bonnie
In the 1861 census for Crickhowell it says "Lamb Street or Chapel
Street" then goes on to call it "Lamb Street".
There is no BOYLE surname, but there is a note against one of the
houses on folio 24 page 6 in that street which says:
"Removed after delivery of schedule into South District and [two
illegible words]"
The sequence of households is:
John Williams head
Marianne Good head
unoccupied
Mary Rees
If any of the above were present in 1851 either side of Boyle then
that might account for the non-appearance of the name.
Much of Breconshire has been transcribed by Powys FHS - you could
try a search on GENfair

Elizabeth Boyle. Visit the Powys FHS area of the site.

Would SKS check the 61 census, Crickhowell, Chapel Street for Ed
(may be
Edward or Edwin) BOYLE, 40 years of age, living with Elizabeth
Mary, 30
years of age. They may have had son John .
Thank you,
Bonnie
