Hi Julie,
Thanks for your reply - it will help me on the way. The Breezes are more
complicated than the Hamers! (my main line of research in Wales just now).
So I've got plenty to keep me occupied.

Rosemary,
I suspect that any/all of us with BREESE ancestry are probably connected in
some way to Andrew but I can't tell you how just yet. :-)
Here's Andrew with his parents and the rest of his family in the 1851
Census, Newtown. Perhaps this information will help sort out his
relationship to your Anne BREESE.
BREESE Andrew h m 64 Sheriff's Officer MGY Llanwrnog High Street /f118/p9
BREESE Mary w m 62 MGY Llanwrnog High Street /f118/p9
BREESE Edward s m 34 Auctioneer MGY Llandinam High Street /f118/p9
BREESE Mary d u 30 Millener & dressmaker MGY Newtown High Street /f118/p9
BREESE Eliza d u 27 MGY Newtown High Street /f118/p9
BREESE Andrew s u 23 Innkeeper MGY Newtown High Street /f118/p9
BREESE Mary gd u 9 Scholar MGY Newtown High Street /f118/p9
BREESE Margaret gd u 6 Scholar MGY Newtown High Street /f118/p9
JONES John sv u 28 Ostler MGY Llanllwchaiarn High Street /f118/p9
GRIFFITHS Esther sv u 21 Maid of all work MER Aberdovey High Street
/f118/p9
Presumably, this is your Anne BREEZE with her husband in 1851 (I'd guess
Matthew & Andrew Sr. were brothers):
BREESE Matthew h m 60 Carrier MGY Llanwrnog Caersws /f440/p14
BREESE Ann w m 58 BRE Llanafan Caersws /f440/p14
BUMFORD John ld u 20 Flannel weaver MGY Trefeglwys Caersws /f440/p14
OWEN Thomas ld u 18 Flannel weaver MGY Llandinam Caersws /f440/p14
I was unable to locate Andrew BREESE/BREEZE b.ca.1828 anywhere in the UK in
the 1881 Census so perhaps he died before 1881.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Julie Preston
