My husband's grandfather died in Lyonshall, HEF and was buried in Dol
Halfren Cemetery, Llanidloes in 1909. His body was taken by train from
Eardisley Station to Llanidloes as noted in the newspaper account below. Can
any member of the list suggest the route the train would have taken? I've
been trying to figure it out but there seem to have been so many different
companies and lines that I'm quite confused.
We are always very appreciative of the vast amount of knowledge of members
of this forum and hope there is a train enthusiast who can help with this
query.
Thanks for any assistance that can be offered.
