On behalf of those in the USA and elsewhere, we appreciate your efforts
greatly. There is no substitute for the value of the people who live in
the area and know the idiosyncrasies of the local records.

I am aware of course of the current FMP uploading of the parish

of Wales, but I have been, on behalf of Montgomeryshire Genealogical
Society sending Montgomeryshire baptisms, marriages and burials to FMP for
many years. Most of our parishes are online at the FMP site.

Recently our team has transcribed the registers of Mallwyd and
Llanymawddwy. These churches are in Meirioneth but Mallwyd has some
townships within Montgomeryshire. We transcribed these in liaison with
Gwynedd F.H.S. who have published them in booklets [see
www.gwyneddfhs.org/ ].
It was agreed that we would upload the data on to our FMP site and I am
pleased to announce that they have now appeared. We believe that they
provide a different aspect to FMP's own input.
They cover
Mallwyd - Baptisms 1568-1894; Marriages 1568-1837; Burials 1568-1876
Llanymawddwy - Baptisms 1627-1934; Marriages 1627-1837; Burials 1627-1899
There were substantial gaps in the Llanymawddwy registers which we have
filled from the Bishops Transcripts, where available.
