Hi,I could not find any sign of a marriage at Merthyr Cynog between Catherine Meredith and Thomas Jenkins. I don't have the records before 1800 for baptisms - sorry.Hope that others have more success.Angie

Hi,
Catherine Meredith was born, according to census either at Merthyr Cynog or
Maesmynis in ca 1785 and married Thomas Jenkins who was born, he says ca
1785 Rhayader. Their children, Isabella, Jane and Elinor (Ellen) were all
born in Llandewi'r cwm. In 1841 they were at Little Mill, Llandewi'r cwm
and in 1851 at dollinwydd, Llandewi'r cwm. Catherine dies 15 February 1864
at Cwm Llewellyn, Llanganten.
Does any lister have knowledge of this family please or of the marriage of
Catherine to Thomas Jenkins (Jenkyns) or of a baptism for Catherine?
Many thanks
Tricia Heseltine.
There was a Beatrice who came via Rhayader too.. Yrs, Dennis

home in
Hyssington (without leaving a will), which could suggest Beatrice was not
about at this date.
Can anyone help, please?
