Hi everyone.
The Baughman Cemetery in Decatur Twp., Clearfield County, PA is complete with
pictures of each stone, a map, and a listing of the people that we have been
made aware that are buried there. Unfortunately everyone has been quick to
request the first draft but have not been as quick to return with information
on others that are buried in that cemetery where the stones are no longer
there (that was the reason for sending out the first draft) or never where.
Within 48 hours we will be sending this information out for the public so if
you are willing please contact me and let me know of a burial that is not
part of the record. I would appreciate it.
The Dale Cemetery is on it's way as well. Does anyone have information on
that cemetery pertaining to unmarked graves?
I am not sure how commonplace this practice is but we revisited a cemetery
this weekend that we had collected the information last month and within the
last 4 weeks the persons that maintain that cemetery had buried a couple of
the stones in the ground so it would be easier to mow the grass. Yes, this
is occurring today, we spoke with the person who did it. I just wondered
what your opinion is of this practice. My Mother was shocked.
If there is anyone out there who is interested in the Baughman Cemetery
information please let me know. It will be made available on several sites.
No one will be permitted to sell this information for financial gain without
the written permission from ICM. Jim Curry, please feel free to contact me
on this issue. I do understand the HS and their needs.
Sincerely,
Renee L. Waring
