Hi Listers,
Does anyone know whether a PA McKean county death cert issued 1919 plus or
minus one year would definitely contain the names of parents? I'm trying to
confirm that the man I'm looking at was the brother of my great-grandmother, but
it's a fairly common name - Michael Edwards - so I need to get to the
parents' names.
thanks

Generally speaking a death certificate has the mother's maiden name. That
is what was on my grandfathers and I was able to find his mother that way.
