This is it folks, the first day of our commitment to Clearfield County. I
thought I would send out an itinerary.
9:00 am - 10:00 am June 18th at McDonald's in Philipsburg. Also arriving on
that date is Dean Sharpless (clap, clap, clap), personnel representing Lynn
Herman your State Representative (clap, clap, clap), newspaper coverage is
expected, hopefully from both of the Clearfield area papers (clap, clap,
clap), Leah Waring our Coordinator (clap, clap, clap), Justin Houser of
Center County cemetery collection fame (clap, clap, clap), Nate Zipfal of
WorldGenWeb, PAGenWeb and ICM-WGW (clap, clap, clap), the Mayor of
Philipsburg has been invited (clap, clap, clap), and the most important
person expected: fill in your name here
and return please (clap, clap, clap). We will have a short training lesson
for those that need it and then we will pair you up. You will take markers
with you so when you leave the cemetery you can let others know that you have
already collected the information. Things to bring: clip board if you have
one, and a couple of pens.
12:00 pm We will all meet for lunch at a prearranged place.
5:00 pm We will meet back at Mcdonald's. Someone will be waiting till all
the groups are in.
I would like to thank all the volunteers that will be coming. Please return
this letter to me with YOUR very special name filled in the blank.
Sincerely,
Renee L. Waring
