Hello,
Thanks to everyone who responded to my query. I need to apologize. I should never try to
work on something after a busy day and late in the evening. I have managed to go through
all the copies from church records that I had found for both of these churches, and it
seems that my family went to one church first 1740-1750 and then must have moved near the
other, where some members were confirmed in the 1750's. I hadn't checked maps for
Pa. and Montgomery county, until last night. I guess Maps and geography research is a good
thing.......
This family was at New Hanover, Old Goshenhoppen, and Trappe where the Sr. member died in
1777. I guess it could be possible they lived in the middle and attended all three
churches at different times? The distance may have been a problem for that to occur.
Anyway, I think I have it straightened a little better. Might still be a bit of a curve
rather than a straight line...
Thanks again,
Leemae
