Genealogist and author Dr. John Philip Colletta will be the featured
speaker at "*Family History for Smarties (and Others, Too!)*"—the 34th
annual Lancaster Family History Conference in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on
May 11, 2013. Dr. Colletta is a faculty member at Boston University;
Samford University, Alabama; and the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy. He
has published three genealogy texts including the
“murder-mystery-family-history” *Only a Few Bones*.
More than a dozen seminars are offered during the Saturday conference, with
dedicated field trips, research opportunities and special round-table
conversations available by reservation earlier in the week. The events are
hosted by Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society, one of Pennsylvania's
