In Maryland you can access Heritage Quest at home, by using your Library card number for
any Maryland Public library.

I also access HeritageQuest through my library card for my local library.
Many libraries now have "Remote Access" set up for their Heritage membership
and
all you need is your library card number to sign on. HeritageQuest is now
only available to libraries and historical societies - no more private
membership.

most
folk I know here in CT get access.
