Margaret posted a couple requests in August of 1997 looking for
information on Beck lineage. Here messages are below.
The email address she listed no longer works. I would really like to
get in touch with her, as it seems she knows of a missing link in my
lineage. If anyone else can help here, I would greatly appreciate it!
My email to her follows:
Hello Margaret,
I saw your posting at
http://www.chm.davidson.edu/PAGenWeb/Q1997.html
regarding Beck lineage. I believe that I am of Johann Christian Beck
lineage.
In my second-hand research(mostly at
familysearch.org), as well as
verbal history, I've pieced this together:
---------------------------
Christian Beck - 1787-c1860 and Elizabeth Stamm gave birth to Andrew J
Beck in 1831 in Indiana.
Andrew J Beck and UNKNOWN gave birth to James Milton Beck in 1851
James Milton Beck and Nancy Ann Everman gave birth to John Reeve Beck
in 1884
John Reeve Beck and Mabel Claire Moss gave birth to my grandfather John
Edward Beck in 1925
Then my father and myself.
The dates would be right for my Christian Beck to be the child of John
Phillip Beck, born in 1751. Do you have any additional dates for John
Phillip Beck's children?
Well I would appreciate anything your can offer. In exchange I'll fill
you in on any details I have.
Thank you,
Brad

BECK, Sr. was the immigrant. He marr. Anna Maria. They had 2 sons that I

but I have not viewed it. Christian had 3 sons: J. Christian III, Tobias
& Wilhelm. Philip with Anna Maria had 6 surviving ch.: Catherine,
Christian, Anna Maria, J.Philip, Jr.,Polly, Elizabeth. With his second
wife, Barbara Bosher surviving was Susannah Beck, 1806/?. My direct line
follows Eliz. but am interested in finding any BECKs of this line.
