Mike,
All I have to go on is a old photo copy of his obit, which states Blossburg
man dies, by taking his birthdate from the census and the age he was when he
died I came up with 1931, of course this may very by a year or two. No dates
were listed in the obit and the date when the item was printed isn't there
either.I am trying to find out where he might be buried, since he lived in
that area all his life. Yes, I asked all the necessary questions to the
Homes I contacted. I know some keep records and that was what I hoped to
fine. I have sent for his death certificate hoping to find his parents and
place of burial.
Thanks for your help
Charlyne

Hi
My name is Mike, my Family ownes a Funeral Home in NJ., am I correct
you're trying to look for a Funeral home from around 1931? Blossburg
Pa., when you spoke to those two other Funeral Homes, they weren't in
business in 1931? Did you ask them if they knew which Funeral Homes
"were in business in 31"? It's very possible those Homes aren't in
business any more (most likely). Do you know the name of the Home you
are looking for? Funeral Homes are not requied to keep records, if the
Home closed, you might have a hard time! My Family has records from the
early1910's. Some Homes toss them, because it's the cities
responsibility to keep the records. Do you have any Funeral Cards? Or
are going by what you were told? What info do you have for the person
your looking for?
Mike
