Drew,
I would look into the Mercer Library in Doylestown and the David Library
in Washington Crossing, PA

Subject: [PAGENWEB] Church and Cemetery records in SE PA
This message is aimed at rooters focused on Berks, Bucks, Chester
and
Schuylkill Counties:
Does anyone know if there's a repository or database which shows the
churches and cemeteries (for the referenced counties) which were active
from
1750-1850, and the books which compile the records for said churches and
cemeteries? My point in asking is that my research has caused me to see
many books on church and cemetery records.but I can't tell if I've seen
all
of these books, nor whether some churches and cemeteries from that era (in
those counties) haven't been "covered." I know for sure that some church
records haven't been compiled.for example, the Zion Lutheran Church in
Frackville PA (Schuylkill Co.)-Rice and Dellock has surveyed the cemetery
for this church, but as far as I know, no one has published anything on
the
church records (possibly because they no longer exist).
I've run my folks back to the late 1700's, but they were poor, and I think
the only way I'll get more info on them is through church/cemetery
records.
I've exhausted the immediately available leads, and I think that if
there's
a list of churches and cemeteries which also shows the ones for which
records have and haven't been compiled, I might make more progress.
Thanks.Drew Blackwell
