Okay...the suspense is wearing off...where is it?
I "searched "Broom Scranton" and came up with a couple possible hints-

"m" and "k" on a keyboard are suspiciously close to one another).
Also, found a reference to a new "Broom Factory" being planned in Scranton
listed in the 1888 Wilkes-Barre Almanac.

Has anyone ever heard of "Broomville" anywhere in PA. A 1903 NY passenger
list from Britain states the passenger (and her children) had a ticket to
Scranton with her final destination being her mother and brother in
"Broomville, Pa.". Can't find it on a map and a Google search offers lots
of
hits for Ireland. Would appreciate any help. Thanks. Sheila K.
