I would like to correspond with descendants of B. Rush to figure out how my ancestor
called him a relative. My ancestor is John Norwood.
Thanks for any help

Please be advised that a VOLUNTEER group of interested neighbors and local historians is
now preparing a nomination application requesting that the house on Dr. Benjamin
Rush's first country estate, which he occupied from 1781 to 12/31/1792, be placed on
the National Register of Historic Places. Anyone wishing to help us complete our task is
invited to contact me off list.
To the best of our knowledge, this particular house is the only residence of Dr. Benjamin
Rush, signer of the Declaration of Independence, that is still standing. Therefore we feel
that it important to have this house recognized as Rush's summer residence.
Thank you for your kind consideration in this matter.
Sincerely,
Leslie Potter
