Uncle Donald's middle initial certainly seems to be D ! Without question,
the 1920 and 1930 Census entries are for him. As if the SSDI entry.
Donald was the 2nd husband of my Aunt and I know he was married before but I
don't know anything more about his previous marriage or his parent's family.
If the 1910 entry if for him, it would appear that, for some reason, he was
living, with his aunt and uncle.
For several years he was the diector of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra. He
was the first conductor of that orchestras and held that position from 1951
until 1983. The wives of the musicians in the Allentown Symphony orchestra
made lovely needlepoint cushions for he and my aunt's dining room suite
which I saw many times when I visited them in Stone Harbor, NJ.
Thanks for all the help!

1910 census Donald D Voorhees is shown in harrisburg PA living with
George and Laura NAGLE listed as a NEPHEW.
1920 census Donald D Voorhees Allentown Ward 13, Lehigh, Pennsylvania as a
Musician, and SON of George and Laura [George a high school teacher]
1930 in NYC Donald D Voorhies with wife Evyleen married 6 years, no
children, musical director.
VOORHEES, DONALD 26 Jul 1903 10 Jan 1989 8508247 (Stone Harbor, Cape May,
NJ)(none specified)New York125-07-8112
Next step might be to find his obit in either a NY or NJ newspaper.
As neither his birth mother of father appear in any census this could be a
challange.
IF he were legally adopted by the Nagle family a county court document
might provide information. Dauphin Co PA and Lehigh Co PA would be places
to start.
