Ok, I will see what I can find tonight if I have a minute. Tis the season.
Ok, I am having trouble figuring out all this.
I am looking for anything related to Jacob 1807 and Mary 1812 Mary Armel born 18 Dec
1812 in Wilkinsburg, died 04-11-1874 in Pa.
Jacob's parents might have been Samuel Buzzard (also Bossart) 1788 - 1871, and
Catherina Strauss 1792 - 1855, no locations for them yet.
I am new to this process, and not sure about much that I am finding - I need better
documentation, but the messages on PAGENWB do not have documentation. So I am
piecing undocumented clues together, and adding documentation when I find it
Jacob and Mary Buzzard born is who you are looking for and they lived in Westmoreland PA?
And how is Jerimiah related to them? Jerimiah is their oldest son born around 1833, second
son is Samuel born 1835 if I have it right
Have you tried FamilySearch.org? This is an amazing site and totally free, you just
create a sign on name Thanks for the tip.

Well, Nancy, I am excited now. The idea of talking to a real person after all these hours
of looking at data and trying to learn how to find info - wow.
I do not have
Ancestry.com yet, so have been reading various historical sites to see what
I can see.
Here is what I found - Jacob 1807 and Mary Armel 1812 had 7 kids listed on the census.
The oldest, Jerimiah Buzzard died in Swissvale, a little town adjacent to Wilkinsburg.

There are two follow-up articles on July 12 and 14, or maybe 14 and 14. Found this
just by googling Jerimiah Buzzard.
The next son, Samuel Buzzard built a house in Wilkinsburg in 1861, but may not have stayed
there - the PPG article says that Jerimiah was planning a visit to WVa to see his
brothers, and he had only 2 that I can see, so they both must have been in Wva if the
other details are correct.
“From Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania in 1861, there came Samuel Buzzard, whose wife’s
Maiden name was Mary Griest. He purchased a choice lot on the corner of Center Street and
South Avenue where he built a home. A Protestant and a Republican, Samuel Buzzard went
about his work diligently, and at peace with all men.” P. 414

Not sure if I should post this info on Pagenweb, as I am so new to what is right to do and
how to do it. I have seen old messages about Samuel and Mary Griest today on pagenweb.
I am looking for anything related to Jacob 1807 and Mary 1812. There are so many Buzzard
posts, so many Buzzard pioneers and settlers, it's a real mish mash. So if you have
info about where Jacob and or Mary descended from, I'd love to see that. Thanks so
much for getting in touch! Connie Barclay

Connie - do you have a location in Pennsylvania or parents or spouse name. Is there
something in particular you are trying to find?
It appears you are researching Jerimiah?
Do you have access to
Ancestry.com, if not I can check it for you?
Have you checked
FamilySearch.org (free)

I am descended from Sarah Catherine "Kate" Buzzard (1861 - ? in WVa), eldest
daughter of Jerimiah Buzzard (~1833 - 1893 in Pa.). I have found information about
Jerimiah's death, and information about younger brother Samuel's (1835 - )
residence in 1861. This is my first post, so I will wait to see how it goes before adding
more info. Connie Barclay
