Hi Maggie,
I am wondering if you have and SELLERS births in your book.
Specifically James B., James Butler or just a James would help. I am trying
to break through my brick wall and find my Great grandfather's parents. I
have been looking for ten years. We believe him to have been born in or
around Amish country. MY grandmother told us he was Pennsylvania Dutch. If that
is so they may be no record of his birth. I don't know how they were
recorded back then. He was born in 1843 and according to his death certificate his
father's name was William but his mother is listed as unknown.
I thank you for the offer of a look up and will appreciate any information
you can find. This is a great service you are doing for others.
Regards,
Bev and Arizona

Hi Everyone,
I have a book that was written by John T Humphrey titled "Pennsylvania
Births Bucks County 1682-1800". Its a really neat book that lists children's
birth or baptismal dates, and their parents names. Also, Humphrey included what
the original church record was that he got that information from. Remember,
this is only for Bucks County and for the years 1682-1800. If you would like
me to look up any names, please email me directly, as I will most likely get
your email that way before I do if it's sent to the list...I have not been
keeping up with reading list emails lately. It may take me a week or so to
answer you, as I already have many lookup requests from the PABUCKS list, but
be assured, I will respond!
Maggie
