Looking for Slack heritage

they had ~eight children (John, Jacob, Rhoda, Mary, Benjamin, Nancy,
Ustalia, Jesse)
2. Jesse Slack b. ~1783 VA; d. ~1831 Wilkes Co., GA

Jefferson, Mary Ann)
4. George Jefferson Slack b. 1-15-1831 GA; d. 2-1864 Alton, Illinois (Civil
War POW)
married Louisiana T. Graham
It has told to me that our line was original from Holland and that the
spelling was Slecht and later changed to Slack.
If anyone can make a connection to this line I would be very appreciative.
Plus I can also provide some additional information on the descendents of
this line.
Sincerely,
