Julie,
If you have not already done so, I would obtain copies of their death certificates and
then their obituaries, once you have the certs. They both could give you good leads.
Also, I would do the 1900, 1910 and 1920 Census records for the US. I think that the
Canadian Census records are 1901, 1911 and 1921. meg

Hi All,
I'm trying to find the parents of Francis (Frances) "Frank" Gerald Murphy,
Born in either PA or NY around 1899, Died Emporium, PA 1944.
Also searching for parents of Myrna Emily Bauer, Born PA or NY, date unk, but probably
around 1900-1905. Died in Emporium, PA in 1935.
Frank Murphy was my Great grandfather. I'm told that his father (name unknown)
emigrated to Canada from Co. Cork, Ireland during the Potato Famine (1845 - 1849) and that
he was a logger. I am also told that he was killed in a logging accident in Canada.
Any information on these ancestors of mine would be helpful.
Thanks,
Julie
