Laney...thanks very much for the input...as you guessed, I already had Rev.
J. W. Boos' records...I visited the Berks County Historical Society several
weeks ago and found much good stuff in their church record and Revolutionary
War books. NLT, many questions yet to answer. For example, their was a
William Blackwell who last shows up in the 1850 census for Tredyffrin Twp,
Chester County...he's aged 69 and, along w/an Elizabeth Blackwell, aged 83,
is living w/a couple named Housman (the couple are both in their late 30's
and have 2 kids). I suspect that William could be related to my John of
Robeson (and that the elder Elizabeth is a Blackwell by marriage, and
despite the closeness in ages, could be William's mother). I also suspect
that the female Housman is William's daughter. Anyhow...this is all merely
semi-informed speculation and I can't find anything except for census data
on this guy.
BTW, if you have ties to Blackwell's in my target geographical area (Berks,
etc.), I can send you what I have compiled.
Once again, I very much appreciate your input!
Drew
