Hi, I saw your answer in the response to Ed, from England concerning
immigration port of entry. You said that the town in question is in the coal mining
area of PA. My husband's family also came from Wales and settled in the
Tamaqua Region of PA. Do you have any more info concerning the miners that
settled in the coal regions of PA? Jackie
Sorry, I only know about the area as a coal mining district. I may have gone thru there a
couple times on a bus trip to New York city, but never set foot in either of those
cities.
