Hi Gary and all,
Just wanted to add that the MDGenWeb Project is test-driving this system
also. We have 10 of our 24 counties online and so far the response has
been very favorable (from cc's and regular query posters). I am using it
also to maintain the Unknown County Queries for our state - whew what a
big job that is -- I used to get 25-50 per day before the autobot crashed
last summer.
If anyone in PA has questions about this system I would be happy to
answer them. I am not an expert -- but it is very easy to use. BTW - I
receive my queries via email and they are already formatted for cchelper.
So any PA CC's who use cchelper may want to check it out.
Also, Nancy Trice did say that the BBS is open to anyone - so please feel
free to try it even if your PA neighbor decides not to.

A new query system has been set up for use by USGenWeb. If you are
already using a system for your queries that you are comfortable with,
there is no need to change. However, if you are looking for something
new, you might want to check this out. As far as I know, the first
person
using it in PA is Carol Hepburn of Somerset County. You can check
this
out at

Please post any comments you might have to pagen-l so the other county
coordinators might see your impressions of this new system.
There is also an evaluation page at
