Kathy,
I'm not familiar with that method, but if you're using an FTP program such
as WS-FTP, you can by issueing the command chmod 666 {file.name} That
will make the file world writeable.

Subject: code to make file writeable?
Does anyone know the code to make a file writeable? I think
one is +o, is another +w?
What makes a file writeable to the visitors, so that I can
make another guestbook-style databook? I'm trying to make a
linkbook, so that the visitors may enter their homepages which
have Berks County data.
This is tough work for a TECHNO-PEASANT! 8*D
