As some of you may have noticed over the past month or so, there have been
problems at
dsenter.com, home of several pieces of the USGenWeb Project.
These problems were recently compounded by the abnormal snow storm that
affected the midwest. The
dsenter.com servers are located in Nebraska,
and they experienced a lengthy power outage as a result of the storm.
Needless to say, those involved in USGenWeb have been scrambling around
trying to fix the problems.
The most immediate change is that the pagen-l mailing list has been moved
to RootsWeb. The new address for sending email to all the PAGenWeb county
coordinators is pagen-l(a)rootsweb.com.
Any links to
www.usgenweb.com will no longer work, as well as those to
usroots.com or
dsenter.com. You can reach the USGenWeb Project at
www.usgenweb.net, but all the pages have not yet been moved, so some of
the links may still not work. As this situation changes, I will post any
news to pagen-l.
