Subject: [STATE-COORD-L] KY Query System Disabled

I have temporarily disabled the KY query system.
While it's a great tool, like all perl-based code it is inherently
a resource hog and we just can't support it on our main server at
peak hours.
Within the next day or two we should have a new server online that's
been tuned specifically for the KY query system, Surname Helper, and
other cgi-bin tools. Until then, we may continue to disable the KY
query system during peak hours.
Sorry about that -- I suppose I should be getting use to it, but I
keep getting surprized by how fast demand is growing for online
genealogical resources. -B
