Two suggestions to improve the exchange of information on this list:
1. Create a subject line that will get the attention of the person that
has (or wants) your information. I would expect a more focused response to a
subject line of "Martin Dunn marriage to Martha Terry" than I would to
"Need Info" or "Need Help". To be honest, I am simply deleting
messages without even reading them -- which I'm betting some others are doing as
2. When responding to a message, please remember that the mailing list is
set to reply to only the Orangeburgh_SC -L address -- not the address of
the person that posted the message. So, when you reply "Thanks!", or "Me
too!", these go to the entire list.
It is a simple matter when replying to copy the address of the poster and
paste over the ORANGEBURGH _SC -L address.
