There's some interesting material re the Shiloh Methodist Church connection
for the Kersh/Kirsch/Kerce/Kierce family at the Dutch Fork site
. They seem to have founded the town
of Shiloh in Rankin County MS, and some family members are buried in the
Shiloh Methodist Cemetery there.

Some have speculated that Andrew Kersh might have changed the spelling of
last name from Kersh to Kearce or Kierce. I am searching for church
the Kierce surname. Can you please check your cemetery listings for
if these surname spellings. I am descended from George Kierce who is
the 1790 Orangeburg Census. Thanks!
