I'm using the digital Deeds from Family Search for Barnwell Co. (1800's) I'm not familiar with the area, so the 'waterways' listed in the deeds are unknown to me.
Is there an on-line source that might help me identify the area where the land was located -- either with maps or geographic listings?
Most of the S.C. maps I've been able to pull up have the large Rivers, but these deeds mention things like Yarrow Branch, Brandy Branch, Lemon Swamp, etc.
