This was a very easy census to read. It is clearly written and not faded.
All the page numbers have been marked through. I used the page number that
ancestry.com chose. The other page numbers are in parentheses. Each page
has the word Orange at the top left followed by a description of the area.
There are no named townships. Part of every page is torn at the top left. I
think that ...th means "South" because on a few pages the "u" is visible.
These 5 were the only Zeiglers listed in the 1800 Orangeburgh Census. All
their last names are spelled the same.

The 1790 Census of Orangeburgh was divided into 2 parts. Both parts were
clearly written with first and last names. All 7 Zeiglers listed were in the
North Part. The census taker spelled all their last names the same way.
Are you looking for information about John Collier's ancestors and siblings,
or are you interested in his descendants? I can furnish you with some
limited info on ancestry, but only that he married Mary Ella Traxler and they
both died in Shiloh, Rankin Co., Mississippi; nothing on descendants.
