Here are my ORANGEBURG/CALHOUN/CLARENDON brick walls:
Adam AMAKER (b. 1800) m. Mary Caroline DUDLEY
Andreas has Adam AMAKER as son of Jacob AMAKER and Rachel RUMPH. . . who
is Rachel RUMPH and does anyone have a source for such a marriage or
children thereof. At least one other file I have seen had Adam AMAKER
as the son of John AMAKER and Delila WALKER. Any sources for that?
Edward DUDLEY m. Mary TREUTLEN (b. 1764), daughter of John Adam
TREUTLEN and Margurite DU PUIS. The DUDLEYs were apparently prominent
in St. Matthews. There is a Dudley Street in town and I have seen a
reference to a Dr. Walter Stafford DUDLEY who lived there in mid 1800s.
Any sources for Edward DUDLEY, Sr. . .
Josiah M. FELDER (b. abt 1806) who m. Margaret S. GAYLE
I have him as son of Jacob FELDER and Margaret WILLIAMS. Any info on
these individuals (esp. Margaret WILLIAMS) appreciated. Josiah may have
remarried and moved to Georgia.
Miss WESTBURY (Mary?) who married Mr. McINTOSH (John?). She was the
sister of Elizabeth WESTBURY who married Roger McGILL. They were the
parents of William McINTOSH (1764-1843).
Any help appreciated.
