Hi All,
We all interpret things differently. I did not see Patty's statement as
an attack, nor do I now. What brought about the S&E Statement was a LOT of
ugly goings on that very few of you were aware of.
I thank you, Patty, for opening that door and shedding light on what was
happening.
Patty, Allen and I are working on a Code of Ethics for this list. We do
not need it as of right now and I hope we never need it, but waiting until
we do need it, is waiting too long.
I hope to present it for your opinions very soon.
Peace,
Judy

Judy,
After hearing your take on it, I'm not so sure I interpreted it
correctly now. Willi, if I interpreted it wrong, I apologize. And if
I interpreted it right, I apologize if it it looked like I was
attacking you. I wasn't trying to specifically counter what
you said as much as I sensed that the general reaction might be that
the Ethics statement was a pointless exercise and that it was
over-domineering by the SCs and used your quote from Bill's message
(where I also messed up cause it made it look like Bill had said
it) as something to respond to.
In general, the CC's in many states have rejected the idea of an
Ethics statement while many SC's are in favor of it. I believe this
is true because the SCs, trying to be considerate, have not exposed
the CCs to all of the ugliness that has been going on. I was trying
to shed some light on why I thought the Ethics statement was
important.
