Hello Everyone,
I like #3 Roll Call -- it works very well in other states where I host
counties and all it takes is some one to 'call' it the first weekend in
each month (or whatever date). That someone doesn't have to be the SC.
In Nebraska (where roll call is done weekly but we are requested to
respond only once a month) it's been fun to see who submits the first
roll call message each week <g> and to hear the brief news from others.

Hi All,
I am hearing that there are a couple of counties that are showing little
or no activity.
WOULD YOU FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE---
1. Having the SC maintain a watchful eye over all Ohio counties (visiting
off and on) to make sure they remain active?
2. Having a person in your neck of the woods stopping every couple of
months to check up.
3. Having a monthly or bi-monthly roll call.
4. Leaving the CCs to do their job unless a complaint is received and
then do some checking up.
The last thing I want is to appear to be putting Ohio in a police state
of shape up or ship out. On the other hand, it isn't fair to the researcher
to not be able to expect recent activity on the county of his/her choice.
Suggestions willing read and considered.
:)
Peace, Judy
