Hi Everyone,
Maggie on my Ohio Mailing List sent me this message. I thought someone
might be able to help her out or to claim the sword. It sounds like quite
a find!

Maggie:
Where would I post a wonderful family heirloom? - I found a Masonic sword
right here in Lowell, MI in the antique shoppe - if someone claims it
online
and is willing to send me the $110 plus postage, I will definitely pick it
up.
Obviously it was from an estate sale somewhere in this area - Michigan or
Ohio
(manufactured in Columbus OH so that might be a good starting point) - I
have
a call into the dealer whose booth it is to see if I could get location
information of the estate sale.
Info on the sword for now is:
RAY P. TUTTLE engraved on sheath and sword
Masonic Order of some type with knights helmet on the handle and initials
engraved on ivory/bone handle. Also had leather sheath for storage -
wonderful condition!! and needs only a bit of cleaning for a few rust spots
-
tagged at $110 - Very ornate scene etched on sword and bejewelled with
some
type of stones (coral, onyx?)
The McLilley & Co. Columbus OH manufactured the sword and it is dated
possibly 1910 or 1919
