Hi All,
The census project marches on. I haven't seen them announce any census
indexes as being uploaded from Ohio yet. Maybe you could send a not to your
county list and see if someone out there would like to join the fun.
Peace, Judy

Subject: [STATE-COORD-L] the Census Project
Hi and good evening
As many of you may know we were recently sent a letter about the cenus
and saying
either S**T or get off the pot. Well I took this as a challenge
I am happy to report, not only are my volunteers/searchers stepping up
to the plate to
help but are stepping over themselves to volunteer. This is extremely
encouraging. :o)
In one instance - 1890 - there is only a census directory - someone has
a xeroxed
copy and DISPITE the fact there is a small copying fee they are still
volunteering.
http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Prairie/4280/1890dir.html She even
went as far
as to put what is in the bookon line and how many pages - also broke the
book down
by what appeared in the book.
So now I'm challenging you
If the idea was for us to have ALL genealogical things on-line I
challenge you to challenge
your CC's and your searchers- maybe - just maybe if we all work together
we can get it
ALL done
This page changes daily, hourly and sometimes by the minute :o)

Anyone up to the challenge?
I have a wonderful bunch here - and all I did was ask!!!
